All of the community stakeholders are collectively responsible for eliminating the social ills that plagues our neighborhoods so that they can evolve to become communities.

For 2022 Project Drive Inc. is focusing on three distinct areas of concentration:
  • Public Schools Intervention programs

  • PUBLIC HOUSING (NYCHA)

  • COURT ROOM ADVOCACY ( Youth & Family Intervention)

Through a comprehensive array of strategies, we develop programs that impacts positive character engagement that sets the foundation for building future leaders.

The program’s administrative staff disseminates information to the administrations of the various municipalities in the aforementioned targeted counties of greater New York/New Jersey. The programmatic materials presented depicts measures and methods to mitigate gang-related criminal activity.

Project Drive INC., promotes the notion that “It Takes A Village To Raise A Child” and therefore seeks to maximize the unified efforts of various community organizations, school officials, clergy and community residents to alleviate and eventually eliminate the social ills and blight that plagues our communities across America.

Our Story

Visionary – Social Activist – Proven – Leader

Gregory L. Joyner, born in Harlem, New York City May 4, 1950. An active participant as a 13 years old teenager in the nation’s first anti-poverty program Har-you Act, located and establish in the village of Harlem, New York. The second born of eight children to Vivian Joyner-Elliott, political and community activist who founded “Willing Workers for Community Youth”, a local community based organization. It was during this time that his flair for social activism was established.

Founder and CEO of Project Drive, INC., an Internal Revenue Service approved (Public Designation) 501(C)3 Youth Services Organization created and designed to redirect misdirected youth. The organizational goals consist of a comprehensive array of strategies designed to instill positive decision-making abilities and skills to replace the negative inclinations of at-risk youth.

Project Drive, INC., was conceived and created in Fords, New Jersey in June of 2001. It was a brainchild developed as the result of an impending prosecution, sentence and subsequent commitment to the New Jersey State Department of Corrections. It was created in an effort to do something positive to counteract the negative contributions inflicted upon society by the program’s founder” to be of service in Greater New York city, Camden, Essex, Hudson, Middle-sex, Ocean, Passaic, and Union Counties of the greater New Jersey area.
